Food Experience

Porto, the second largest city in Portugal, is a full of charm, history and amazing food and wine. During your 4 nights in this enchanting city, you will enjoy a port wine tour and tasting, a baking class, a walking food and wine tour, a 7 course tasting with wine pairing experience and a day exploring the Douro Valley.

4 nights in a charming boutique hotel just steps from the metro.


A full breakfast is included each morning at the hotel.


We will enjoy 3 traditional meals together plus substantial tapas and wine on our walking food tour. A highlight will be a 7-course tasting experience with wine pairings.

Cooking Classes

We will learn to make Pastel de Nata.

Day Trip

We will explore Douro Valley, including winery tour and tasting and a delicious lunch.

Walking Wine and Food Tour

We will have a guided walking tour, tasting wines and local tapas along the way.

Port Wine

We will visit one of the large port wine houses across the river and learn about Port, followed by a tasting of three wines.


We will arrange for your airport transfers (or train if you are coming from the Lisbon tour) and also include transportation to Douro Valley.

Leslie Brashear, your host and tour curator, will be facilitating the experience. Leslie is passionate about slower, more immersive, and sustainable travel and learning about a location and its culture through the foods and beverages that are consumed there.
